Research of design high speed digital correlator on single chip

In this paper the research to design high speed digital correlator on a single chip is introduced. Based on spread spectrum communication application, we have designed a sixteen channel digital correlator array experimental chip (about 200 000 standard gates, 0.5μm triple-metal). The result indicates that this chip can meet all of the design goals (include functions and electrical characters) under the operating conditions of 3.3V supply and 60MHz clock frequency.
