Magnetic Nanomaterials and Their Applications in Diagnosis and Treatment of Cancer

Magnetic nanomaterials have the ferromagnetism and the superparamagnetism in diffe-rent dimensions.Different magnetic nanomaterials for different purposes are introduced,such as the magnetic nanogranule,magnetic liposome,magnetic liquid,ferromagnetic minicrystal glass,ironcarbon compound and superparamagnetic ironoxide.Recent applications of magnetic nanomaterials in the magnetic resonance imaging,separation of tumour cells,target hot treatment,embolism treatment and magnetic target of drug are reviewed.In the end,the actions of magnetic nanomaterials on the diagnosis and treatment of cancer are summarized,and their applications in the diagnosis of deep tumours,combined treatment and gene treatment of cancers are prospected.
