Study on Nonlinear Optical Properties of Ferric Oxide UFP Sol

A study on the third order nonlinear optical properties of ferric oxide UFP hydrosol andorganosol was carried out with the Degenerate Four Wave Mixing (DFWM) technique. Or-ganosol exhibits higher nonlinear susceptibility X~(3) compared to the hydrosol. The X~(3) gener-ation mechanism of Ferric oxide UFP sol is also discussed.
