Improved Polymer Light emitting Devices With Polyaniline and Doped Polyaniline as Electrodes

Abstract Polyaniline and doped polyaniline is employed as positive electrode to fabricate organic polymer MEH PPV light emitting diodes (LEDs). It is found that the intensity of the light emitting of the doped devices is enhanced by 30% and the turn on voltage is lowered by 25%. The measurements of the lifetime show that LEDs with polyaniline and doped polyaniline as electrodes can work ten times longer than the usual LEDs with ITO as electrodes directly.
