The new type of chrysanthemum with white ground and black pattern is of great value on ornament for its well distributed and more solid leaves. It occurs in the Altai of Xinjiang and is formed by steam-water hydrothermal process. The leaves are holmoustite and the ground is mainly mica schist. This type of chrysanthemum stone is more rigid and compact, and is convenience for collection.
