Theoretical Construction of the Chinese Personality Assessment Scale

This article aims at clarifying theoretically the mechanism and its significance of constructing the Chinese personality Assessment Scale (QZPS).Some hang\|ups and potential disservices in applying Western scales and questionnaires are discussed, along with the emphasis on probing the Chinese personality structure. Principles and procedures on constructing the Chinese Personality Assessment Scale, and the preliminary results are also discussed in this paper.
