EFFECTS OF Cu~(2+),Zn~(2+),Fe~(3+) AND Co~(2+) IN FRESHWATER ON DIGESTIVE ENZYME AND ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE ACTIVITY OF MACROBRACHIUM NIPPONENSE

Effects of Cu 2+,Zn 2+,Fe 3+ and Co 2+ in freshwater on digestive enzyme and alkaline phosphatase activity of Macrobrachium nipponense were studied. Results showed: (1) Low concentration of Cu 2+(2 μg/L)added into the water could active the pepsin and trypsin-like enzyme in the hepatopancreas. The optimum Cu 2+ concentration added into the water was 2 μg/L. High concentration of Cu 2+ would inhibit their activity. Effect of Cu 2+on alkaline phosphatase in the hepatopancreas was unremarkable; (2) Low concentration of Zn 2+(2~4 μg/L)added into the water could active the pepsin, trypsin-like enzyme and alkaline phosphatase in the hepatopancreas. High concentration of Zn 2+ would inhibit their activity; (3) The experimental concentration of Fe 3+(2~80 μg/L)could active the pepsin and trypsin-like enzyme; (4) Effect of low concentration of Co 2+(6 μg/L)on alkaline phosphatase in the hepatopancreas was remarkable, and low concentration of Co 2+(6 μg/L)increased their activity. High concentration of Co 2+ could inhibit their activity. The activities of the pepsin and trypsin-like enzyme of Macrobrachium nipponense were increased by 20 μg/L Co 2+.
