AFLP molecular marker technique and its application in the studies of fruit trees

Li Rong,Niu Jian-xin(Agricultural College of Shihezi University,Shihezi,Xinjiang 832003,China)  
AFLP(Amplified fragment length polymorphism)is a newly developed molecular marker technique.Its basic principle was briefly described.The application of AFLP in Germ plasm resources,Genetics and Breeding of fruit trees in recent years were introduced.And the probles and practical prospects of AFLP technique were also evaluated.
