A Theoretical Study on the Harmonic Thermoviscoelastic Waves in 1~3D Media

In this paper, the characteristics of plane thermoviscoelastic waves in 1 ~3D media are studied, and the constitutive epuation for the viscoelastic material is given.Studies show that the attenuation tendency of the plane thermoviscoelastic waves is inaccordance with its direction of dissemination, and also the spreading pattern of harmonicwaves of a halfspace with frss surface is studied. The characteristics of two types of reflected waves-primary waves (P waves, longitudinal waves) and Secondary waves (Swaves, horizontal waces), are analyzed. Simulation shows that Promary waces and Secondary waves have distinct direction of dissemination and attenuation tendencies.Finally, the relation between the quantas of waces has been canvassde, The nimericalsimulation provides proof for the effecticeness of our research.
