Affective Factor in Foreign Language Learning

English learning, in China, has been given great concern and investment for many years. However the fact of "long-period, large-input, low-repaying, poor-effect" has been always perplexing the foreign language learners, and increasingly causing those who engage in foreign language teaching to reflect on and do research . There are many factors affecting foreign language learning, of which the affective factor is the most important that each foreign language learner must face and experience. If we could efficiently deal with the relation between the affective factor and language learning, we would surely improve our foreign language learning to great extent. Therefore, the affective factor should not be neglected in foreign language learning and teaching.
