Study on Vibration and Noise Reduction of Turbine-Generator Foundation Intermediate Layer Platform by a Constrained Damping Concrete Plate

In dealing with the vibration damping of the intermediate layer platform of the turbine-generator foundation,under the same conditions,comparative experiments on vibration and noise between ordinary concrete plate and constrained damping concrete plate are carried out.The modal damping ratios and the noise data obtained from the experiments show that under different frequencies and different vibration mode shapes,the damping effect of constrained damping concrete plate is different.Moreover,some effect on noise reduction is also observed during the excitations of the plate itself.
