Advances in the Study of Remove Ammonia-Nitrogen in Landfill Leachate

Studies on remove ammonia nitrogen from landfill leachate was considered to important for followed biochemical treatments and lower concentration in final effluent,which a general high ammonia nitrogen in original landfill leachate.This paper had summarized the methods for remove ammonia nitrogen and compared the merits and shortage of traditionary physical or chemical methods and biological denitrification.Moreover,the andvances of studies was further expatiated on new biological denitrification technology and denitrification using the landfill.Furthermore,some proposal was tabled in futural studies on denitrification technology from landfill leachate.
