The Application Of Remote Sensing Technology in Monitoring of Water Quality for Inland Lake

Remote sensing technology is an effective way to continually,rapidly and dynamically monitor the large-scale environmental pollution since the technology possess the advantages of low-cost,regional and global,long-term monitoring,and of real-time or timely prediction,and has recently become one of the important means for observing and monitoring dynamic changes of large lakes.The monitoring of water quality for inland lake using remote sensing technology is based on the experience,the statistical analysis or the water quality parameter spectrum characteristic,choose remote sensing wave band data and analyse the ground actual water quality parameter data,establish the water quality parameter retrieval model.The traditional method and neural networks are two methods in water quality of island lake monitoring using remote sensing technology.Compared with the traditional method,neural networks can low fault tolerance and have high reliability.Neural networks,hyperspectral remote sensing and the composing of RS,GIS and GPS in monitoring and analyzing water quality of inland lakes are the future prospect in this field.
