Absorption of Cr(Ⅵ) by Different Types of Sludges and Its Affecting Factors

A great deal of municipal sludge has been producing annually and its components are very complex.It is an attractive problem that how to realize municipal sludge resources utilization.Cr6+ adsorption characteristics on municipal sewage sludge and industrial sludge were studied,also,relationship between adsorptive capacity of Cr6+ and volatile content in sludge was explored using four types of sludges.The results showed that the adsorptive capacity of Cr6+ on two sludges increased with pH decreasing;The optimal adsorption time of Cr6+on two sludges were 15min.It has been indicated that the adsorption capacity of Cr6+ increased with volatile content increasing,so the adsorption capacity of Cr6+ was influenced by volatile content.
