Microbial Remediation of Polluted Soils

Microbial remediation technique has been showing extensive prospects for use in polluted soils.And,it is an economical and 'green'solution to the problem of polluted soils.This paper mainly introduces the status of heavy metal pollution,pesticide pollution,petroleum pollution of soils and its harm in China.The presence of the researches on microbial remediation,and advancement in research of microbial remediation of polluted sois.A comprehensive review is presented of current researches on and development of microbial remediation of soils contaminated with typical pollutants at home and abroad,based on interaction between soil microorganisms and pollutants.In the end of the paper,directed at new characteristics of the soil pollution in China,the prospects for bioremediation research is discussed and fields for futher study are recommended.
