Analysis of Long-term Variations of Surface Dissolved Oxygen Content near the Dongxi Lian Island of Lianyungang

The dissolved oxygen(DO) content in surface seawater from 1995 to 2005 at Dongxi Lian Island Ocean Environment Monitoring Station of State Oceanic Administration(SOA) was analyzed.The results show the DO content showed an increasing trend in those years,and the DO content was different in different seasons.Winter had the highest concentration and was greater than spring,fall,and summer,respectively.There was a negative correlation between the DO content and the surface seawater temperature,and the dynamic data of the DO content in surface seawater could be obtained according to this relation.In addition,the supersaturation of DO showed an increasing trend near the sea area of Dongxi Lian Island after 2000.
