The Impact of Adding Fe~(2+) and Co~(2+) on Methane Fermentation with Animal Waste

With the beef excrement as fermentation raw material,the research on calculating the volume of different concentrations of Fe2+and Co2+ on biogas production and gas production cycle.The results showed that,materials added Fe2+and Co2+ concentration of 1.2 μg/L could reach the gas largest production,when the material in the Fe2+concentration of 1.2 μg/L,the gas production was 3 648.25 mL,the maximum sustainable gas 7 d,average daily gas production was 148 mL;1.2 μg/L of Co2+ in the gas production was 2 766.25 mL,the highest gas production sustainable 5 d,the average daily gas production was 132.8 mL.Materials with different concentrations of Fe2+and Co2+ can be extended gas production cycle,but gas production start-up time,carbon and nitrogen materials before and after fermentation,and pH value than no effect.
