Determinant Factors for Selection of Phytoremediation Methods

The reasonable choice of remediation technology plays an important role in removing the pollutants.Phytoremediation technology has become a hot topic in this field at home and abroad,because it has many advantages such as low cost,little secondary pollution and so on.From prophase preparation and metaphase management to anaphase treatment,all aspects must be considered when phytoremediation is chosen for restoring polluted area.According to recent research progresses of phytoremediation application,some crucial factors were introduced,including characteristics of the contaminated site,selected plant,agronomic measures,ecological and social influence as well as management and monitoring.This study aims to provide theoretical references for reasonable application of phytoremediation.
