The Optimal Control Method to Analyze the Stability of Soil Slopes

The optimal control method to analyze the stability of soil slopes is presented by combining with finite element method, theory of limit equilibrium, numerical analysis method of ordinary differential equation and theory of optimal control. Beginning with the analysis of stress distribution of a soil slope, the critical slip surface is determined, and the globe safety factor is calculated.
