Application of the First-Order Optimization Method in Adjustment of the Force of Cable

It is feasible to construct the long-span-length arch bridge by the cantilever method of field pouring procedure.The arch ring is constructed by hang-basket,and the cables are pulled to control the line shape of the naked arch at the same time.In order to make full use of the cables' mechanical property and save materials,it is necessary to keep the value of cable force unchangeable during each construction stage.However,As the whole structure is hyperstatic, it is very difficult to calculate the results.The first-order optimization method in ANSYS is utilized to calculate the cable force.After a few calculations of iteration,the cable force is equal approximately.
