An Adaptive Algorithm of Information Fusion for Integrated Navigation

LIU Jiang,CAI Baigen (State Key Laboratory of Rail Traffic Control and Safety,Beijing Jiaotong University,Beijing 100044,China)  
Based on GPS/INS integrated navigation system,in order to meet the requirement of precision and stability,a new adaptive algorithm of information fusion is developed with the combination of the improved adaptive filter algorithm of Sage-Husa and exponentially-weighted fading memory.Simulation shows that this approach solves the uncertainty of statistical characteristic of noise and model parameter,and the filtering precision and stability are guaranteed.The new algorithm is applied in VC++6.0 environment.The diagram of GPS/INS integrated navigation system and the structure of software are given.Some experiments validated its practical value.
