Topology Properties on Chinese Railway Network

We established three network models which are physical network,transport network and transfer network from the point of view on the infrastructure,train stops and system transfer.Then,we analyze their network topology characteristics by using statistical analysis method.The railway physical network has approximately zero about average clustering coefficient according to statistics.The degree of most of Station is 3 in railway physical network,so railway network suffering from emergency events became easily disconnect.The degree of most of Station is 2 in railway transport network.An average of 12.49 stations is passed to destination in railway transport network.The railway transfer network has a larger average clustering coefficient and a smaller average network distance,thus this network is a small world network with the scale-free property.Furthermore,this paper presents a calibration method on important nodes and edges,and calibrated the importance value of railway network.Then,this paper also analyzes the network flexibility under the different attacks on railway network.The results showed that it has good survivability under the random attacks for railway transfer network.
