A Probe in Shunt Hybrid Compensator Topology with Reduced APF′s Rating and Terminal Voltage

A type of shunt hybrid compensator topology with reduced APF′s rating and terminal voltage is proposed in this paper. This compensator topology is reasonable and valuable with the result demonstration based on theoretical analysis and digital simulation. It will reduce largely the APF′s rating and terminal voltage, and will make the APF technology applicable in the aspects of power system and electrified railway supply system.
