Study on the Foam's Stability of PVF Cellular Plastics Prepared by Mechanical Foaming

PVF Cellular plastics was prepared by mechanical foming. A series of conditionsaffecting the foam's stability were investigated, such as the kinds and concentration of surface active agent, alcoholysis degree of PVA, reaction temperature etc. The foam's viscosity and stability were improved by adding a thickening agent and an even distribution ofpore diameter and dense pore PVA foam was obtained.
