Preparation of Strongly Alkaline Ion Exchange Fiber with Plasma

Strongly alkaline ion-exchange fiber was prepared by using plasma treatment. The impact of the processing power,processing pressure and the processing time of on acrylic non-woven grafting styrene was studied,respectively.The results showed that the impact of plasma treatment on the graft was obvious.The optimum graft effect could be obtained when the power was 100 W,the pressure was 30 Pa,and the time was 4 min,respectively,and the grafting yield could attain to 20 percent.After chloromethylation and amination,the product with exchange capacity of 1.40 mmol/L could be obtained.
