Study on Correlation Factors on Soluble Solids of Processing Tomato

Research showed that it is very different of soluble solids between processing tomato species. Among the other factors, the effect of N fertilizer using quantity on soluble solids was little, the effect of ripe degree was notable that the soluble solids was up with the tomato color changing from white to red; it had closely relation to post harvest storage days, for example: in post harvest 20 days, the soluble solids content was up with prolonging storage days; After irrigating, it was down rapidly until 5th day late that the soluble solids content will be back and up to the level of irrigating ago.
