Effect of Local Limited Irrigation on Physiological Characteristics of Gerbera

Pot experiment was introduced to study Gerbera in net room of Shenyang Agriculture University.The samples including alternative partial root-zone irrigation;fixed partial root-zone irrigation;conventional irrigation.The results showed that in the same period,the content of the chlorophyll、the ground dry weight in Gerbera leaves were changed in the sequence: alternative partial root-zone irrigationconventional irrigationfixed partial root-zone irrigation;the content of soluble sugar of Gerbera were changed in the sequence: conventional irrigationfixed partial root-zone irrigation,in August and October conventional irrigationalternative partial root-zone irrigation fixed partial root-zone irrigation,in December alternative partial root-zone irrigationconventional irrigation,as the temperature decrease,the content of soluble sugar gradually increased,the content in December than in august increased by 36.94%.the nutrient utilization of Gerbera were changed in the sequence:alternative partial root-zone irrigationconventional irrigationfixed partial root-zone irrigation,and it reach the statistical significant.
