Ecological Functions of Jerusalem artichoke

Jerusalem artichoke is an excellent livestock feed,also serves multiple ecological functions.It shows significant ecological and commercial importance for its strong stress tolerance,very high yield potential and utilization as biofuels.In this paper,the stress tolerance of Jerusalem artichoke against cold,drought and salt,as well as its role in biomass energy source are reviewed and prospected.
