Coke Strength Prediction and the Quality Control of Coal Blending at Baosteel

The basic concept of the coke strength prediction and the quality control of coal blending at Baosteel and a new parameter of CCI(composition caking index) are established based on the existing petrographical theory and the control method of coking coal both at home and abroad.The result of the coke strength prediction by multi gradual regression analysis according to the experimental data shows that the predicted DI 150 15 ,CRI and CSR of the coke from Baosteel coking batteries are well coincidental with its measured values.
