Development of 3Cr Series Oil Pipes with Good CO_2 and H_2S Corrosion Resistant Properties

Carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide corrosion is the main corrosion occurring in mining petroleum and gas.Carbon dioxide's corrosive characteristics and behavior of oil casings are analyzed.Development of the oil casing that is carbon dioxide corrosion resistant and hydrogen sulphide corrosion resistant,and a kind of low-alloyed steel with three percent of chromium and good corrosion resistant performance is introduced in this paper.The mechanical properties,carbon dioxide corrosion resistance as well as hydrogen sulphide stress corrosion cracking properties of 80,95,110ksi grades are focused on.The make up and structure of the surface corrosion products,corrosion resistant behavior and mechanism of chromium in the low alloyed steels are also studied by means of advanced SEM,XPS,XRD,stereo light microscope,etc.
