Experiment Modeling and Parameter Identification of a Nonlinear Metal-net Vibration Isolator

XUE Chun-xia, FAN Wen-xin ( DepL of Science, North China Institute of Technology, Taiyuan 030051, China)
Experimental and theoretical studies on a nonlinear metal-net vibration absorber have been done. A practical mathematic model for the absorber is established. A nonlinear model is proposed, which describes the dynamic characteristics. Experiment shows that under steady periodic excitation, the dynamic hysteretic loops of the nonlinear metal-net vibration absorber depend on not only the vibration level, but also the vibration frequency. The resilience of the vibration absorber can be divided into two parts: the spring force and the damp force, through the analyzing of the work mechanism. The results show that the model captures the nonlinear hysteretic system quite accurately , and provide a theoretical base for engineering application.
