Calculation Study in Steady Combustion Properties of AP CMDB Propellants

In this paper ,a steady combustion model of AP CMDB propellant,which can be used in the combustion property calculation of AP CMDB propellants as well as classic DB Propellants,was developed.The values calculated with the model are in accordance with the burning rates from references.The calculated results show that the burning rates of the AP CMDB propellants increase with the decrease in the particle size of AP and with the greater content of AP.On the other hand ,the higher the energy of the binder system,such as an increase in the content of NG or in the nitrification degree of NC,the greater the burning rates of the propellant.
