Stabilization Analysis of LOS for Carrier-Based Electro-Optical Tracking Equipment

Tracking precision of electro-optical tracking equipment is influenced by ship-swaying, The LOS (line of sight) stabilization is the key of improving the precision of weapon. The coordinate transformation technology is adopted to compensate real time attitude angles of the swinging ship on the azimuth and pitching axis of tracking equipment in order to stabilize LOS and improve precision. The methods of stabilization control of LOS mainly include ship-swaying feed-forward control, rate gyro feedback control and compounding control. The expressions of LOS add-angle velocity begotten by ship-swaying is introduced through math deduction. The servo control system that can insulate ship-swaying interference was designed. In this system, the closed loop is composed of velocity measurement machine used as velocity feedback and coder used as position feedback, the feed-forward signal of ship swaying is measured by rate gyro. The design of feed-forward loop and the simulation diagram of SIMULINK was given. The system has higher precision of is, better isolating effect.
