Design of Virtual Multimeter Based on ISA Bus

The virtual multimeter based on ISA bus is divided into computer and ISA bus board. It is composed of A/D conversion, alternating voltage measurement, resistance measurement and interface circuit. After the initialization, according to the corresponding modes and position, the main progress sent data signals to address latch and simulate switch through ISA bus. The A/D decoding circuit received simulation signal form measurement port and converted the signals into data signals which displayed by 7-segment, then signals were sent to data latch. ISA bus read the corresponding data space. After processed by software, the data was stored as decimal measurement value to draw image and calculate average value and so on.
