Embedded Military Electronic Map System Based on GIS

The embedded military electronic map system based on GIS technology consists of Linux operating system, ARM7TDMI microprocessor, TFT LCD, electronic screen and GPS signal-receive board. The system transformed the existing data files of military electronic map into embedded electronic map data files, and it used the original embedded software platform to develop electronic map programs. It realized the transplant of electronic maps in personal computer to embedded equipments and the purposes of pocket-size military electronic maps.
