Nonlinearity Test and Compensation of IFOG's Scale Factor Based on LabVIEW

SUN Hai-feng(Beijing North Langtuo Technology Co.,Ltd.,Beijing 100081,China)  
Scale factor’s nonlinearity is the IFOG’s main error in high rotation rate applications,and the IFOG’s error can be greatly improved by the scale factor’s nonlinearity compensation.The input to output characteristic of IFOG is modeled by polynomial fitting,and the IFOG’s scale factor nonlinearity test and compensation is realized by taking advantage of LabVIEW’s serial port communication and data processing functions.The result shows that,the compensated IFOG’s scale factor nonlinearity can be improved by 3 orders of magnitude.
