TRANSVERSE VIBRATION OF A PROJECTILE HAVING LARGE SLENDERNESS RATIO IN ITS FLIGHT

Transverse vibration of a projectile having large slenderness ratio in its flight is studied, giving equations of vibration displacement for any given initial condition. Vibrations of three kinds of APFSDS having different slenderness ratio are calculated in their after effect period. The results are discussed and analysed.
