DEVELOPMENT OF A DYNAMIC TIRE TEST SYSTEM

The significance and main objectives of development of the dynamic tire test system are discussed. The dynamic system to be developed is based on the existing static tire test rig, and will be used to measure dynamic properties of tires including their steady/non steady state properties and low speed/high speed properties in complicated conditions of operation. The essential characteristics of the dynamic tire test system lie in that various parameters and variables involving tires, e.g. force, moment, displacement, angle, velocity, hydraulic system pressure etc., can be controlled and measured independently in real time.
