Calculation of Wave-making Resistance and Analysis of Flow Field for Amphibious Armored Vehicles

A mathematical model of wave-making resistance was established to study the influence of the wave-making resistance on the speed of amphibious vehicle,and it was calculated by using continuous source distribution algorithm.Unstructured grid and adaptive grid were adopted to implement discretization according to the structure of flow field outside running amphibious vehicle and the features of solution.The pressure field was obtained and the flow field was analyzed numerically by using computational flow dynamics(CFD).The results show that the method can be used to predict the maximum speed of amphibious vehicle and research anti-drag and speed increase.
