Remote Sensing Image Fusion Based on the Wavelet Theory

Special attention is given to the Wavelet Transform by more and more scholars all over the world,and many fusion methods based on the Wavelet Transform and traditional methods are used in the image fusion.Based on a review of these methods,the methods of Wavelet Packet,Best Tree Transform and the Multi-band Wavelet Transform are given.And then their superiority and features in image fusion are analyzed.Different methods can be chosen based on the special purpose.
