Use the Principle of Sedimentology to Study Main Heavy Metals Pollution and Potential Ecological Risk in Taizi River Tributary

Based on the principle of sedimentology and the environmental behavior characteristics of heavy metals, this paper deals with heavy metal pollution in Taizi River tributary-Nansha River, Yunliang River, and Yangliu River, Liaoning Province. To assess the potential ecological impact of heavy metals the potential ecological risk index suggested by Lars Hakanson, Uppsala Water Quality Laboratory of Swidish Environmental Protection Board, Was employed for the first time in China.
