Studies on the Polarographic Adsotpion Catalysic Wave of Ge(Ⅳ)-Quercetin-KBrO_3 System

In a supporting electrolyte containing 0.1mol/L HAc-NaAc,4×10 ̄(-6) mol/L quercetin,0.1mol/L KBrO_3,at pH 5.3,an adsorption catalytic wave of the complex of Ge(Ⅳ)-quercetin were obtained by using single-sweep polarography.The change of peak heiglitwith the concentration of Ge(Ⅳ)is linear in the range from 6.0 ×10 ̄(-8) to 2.0 ×10 ̄(-6)mol/L. The detection limit is down to 2.0 × 10 ̄(-8)mol/L.The electrode processes of theadsorption catalytic wave were studied. The rate constant of catalytic reaction was deter-mined as k=2.8×10 ̄6(mol/L) ̄(-2)·s ̄(-1).
