An Investigation into the Flavour Compostion of Cunaliella Salina

volatile compositions in the alga,Dunalieh Salina grown in a salt lake in Xizang have been first time identified by GC/MS.The flavour of D. Salma due to β- ionone,was shown to be produced by oxidative degradation of β-carotene present in the alga。
