Comparision Between Different Calculating Methods for Two-point Straight Side Press Frame Model

Lin Daosheng(Department of Mechanical Engineering)  
The displacement and stress of each part in the two -ponit straight side press frame model are obtained by means of two-dimensional and three-dimensional finite element methods. The comparision between the results with these methods and those with the usual method of mechanics of materials shows that these methods are much better.
