Three-dimensional attitude control of a rigid spacecraft with space manipulators

Due to total angular momentum conservation of the system centre of mass, the spacecraft system becomes a nonholonomic one without considering the external forces moment acting on the system. In terms of this characteristic, the three-dimensional attitude control problem of the rigid spacecraft with three manipulators is discussed in the paper. The carrier's attitude defined by Calay parameters, the mathematical model of attitude control of rigid spacecraft with space manipulators is built.Then the optimal solutions are obtained by one kind of optimal algorithm-the genetic algorithm. The results of numerical simulation show that this approach is effective for the control problem of spacecraft attitude.
