Flood submergence analysis based on region-growing

When given the digital elevation model(DEM) of relative regions,we modify the false depression produced by measurement error using the elevation of each point,then predict and display the submerged area with region-growing.The result shows the predicted submerged area can be calculated accurately.So this research supplies a reliable scientific basis for disaster evaluation and flood control decision.
