Extraction algorithm of light stripes center in the measurement system of structured light

In the vision measurement system of line-structed light,the extracting precision of light stripes center affects the precision of measurement system directly.It is quite difficult to extract light stripes center precisely because of different light-stripes widths,uneven illumination and differences in the nature of the objects surface.According to the characteristics of line-structured light,two extracting algorithms of light stripes center were proposed including two-value morphological thinning algorithm and Gaussian distribution curve fitting algorithm.The experiment results show that two algorithms are feasible in measure,and the latter with higher precision,is more fit for the extracting of light stripes center-line.
