Topology optimization design of direct-drive double-angle milling head

XIAO Jian,WANG Ke-she(School of Electromechanical Engineering,Beijing Information Science and Technology University,Beijing 100101,China)  
With variable density method as the basic theory,by using the structure topology optimization module provided by ANSYS tools,the continuum structural topology optimization of the key components of direct-drive double-angle milling head is carried out.Based on the results of topology optimization,the structure is modified and analyzed,to meet the design requirements.Compared with the size of the original design,the optimized volume ratio greatly reduces and stiffness remains unchanged.
