Fuzzy immune adaptive smith-PID control on water quality adjusting system of thermal power plant

Water quality adjusting system of thermal power plant is a large time-delay and time-varying controlled object.The control quality of the Fuzzy immune adaptive control and conventional Smith control is not satisfactory.Refering to the regulation process of the biological immune system,the adaptability of the fuzzy inference and the capability of Smith predictor in solving delay problem,the control strategy of combining fuzzy immune adaptive controller and Smith predicting controller into a compound controller was proposed.The fuzzy immune P regulator is used to set the proportional gain of the PID controller in real-time.The fuzzy controller is used to set the integration time constant and the differential time constant.Simulation results show that this control algorithm has the advantages of short settling time,strong stability,strong noise immunity and so on.The control effect is satisfactory.
