Application of extended state observer to PWM rectifier

No effective method at present can be used to overcome the influence of the AC side parameter imbalance and DC side Equivalent Series Resistance(ESR) on voltage-type PWM rectifier DC output voltage.In order to solve the problem,all the unknown factors are regarded as unknown disturbance,and the Extended state observer is applied.The control strategy can observe and compensate for unknown disturbance and can also improve AC side current waveform.Simulation Research is made on PWM rectifier with the AC side parameter imbalance and DC side Equivalent Series Resistance(ESR) by establishing the Simulink model that ESO is used in voltage-type PWM rectifier.The result shows the control strategy proposed in this paper is feasible.
